The Michelada is Mexico's answer to the Bloody Mary — beer-based, tomato-forward, spicy, and deeply refreshing on a hot day. Our Michelada Shrub was developed specifically to make the perfect Michelada at home without any of the fuss. It's a concentrated blend of tomato, lime, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and our proprietary spice mix. One bottle makes 8–10 drinks. The result is a cocktail that tastes like it came from a beachside palapa in Baja.
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a tall glass or a chilled beer mug. Dip the rim in Tajín or chili-lime salt.
Fill the glass with ice. Add the Michelada Shrub and fresh lime juice.
Slowly pour the cold lager over the back of a spoon to preserve the carbonation. Stir gently once.
Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
